Challenges

After seven years of struggling to have children, Jeff Feller and his wife were finally successful in becoming expecting parents, with twins no less! However, due to complications during the pregnancy, they had to temporarily relocate their residence closer to more accessible medical facilities, adding rent to their existing mortgage and accumulating bills.

Jeff's wife then quit her job to prepare for motherhood, which led to more credit card debt. These financial strains motivated Jeff to seek additional income sources to support his family.

In the pursuit of new business opportunities, Jeff came across Secure Payments in 2017 and had an interesting revelation. This led to the founding of Feller Payments, a financial services company specializing in credit card processing, online payment gateways and invoice automation.

Results

Unlike most MSPs who use Secure Payments to fill PCI compliance gaps, Jeff focused on credit card processing. He leveraged his relationships and introduced clients to Secure Payments for audits on their payment environments, earning recurring revenue with almost zero work required of him.

Once he hands the lead over to Secure Payments, they do the rest. His approach proved successful, starting with small commissions that grew to cover his car and mortgage payments. Eventually, the income was substantial enough for his wife to leave her job guiltlessly.

Jeff's unique business strategy and dedication enabled Feller Payments to earn a comfortable, full-time income in credit card commissions last year. He emphasizes the ease and value of this model for MSPs, encouraging them to step out of their comfort zones and explore similar opportunities.
